Forum Title: Aluminum Screen Pull Tabs??
Does the marketplace offer any improved versions of those plastic tabs that theoretically lock under the spline? I rescreened one yesterday and the new tabs didn't survive the initial reinstall. Even if they don't just pull out of the spline, our very high UV climate is tough on the plastic and they last a few years at best.

Look in your local yellow pages under Glass. They'll come out and look at it, measure it, make them up, come back a couple of weeks later, and install them. If it's an insulated glass, which I assume it is since you say it's the inside glass, then you do not replace just the inside pane. They make up a new insulated unit, then come out and install it.

On the side panel of this site, I rambled and saw this one. I like it much better since you don't have to coordinate its installation with the spline. Seems it would hold tighter, too.70-204 Slip-On Latch With Ball Head Screw :
